The Lviv-based Electronmash plant has presented a new model of the Electron E181 electric bus as part of the state policy "Made in Ukraine". This was reported to by Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Economic Development Dmytro Kysylevsky.

Kysylevsky noted that the main feature of the new model is its compact length of 10.2 meters. The electric bus can accommodate 90 passengers and has 30 seats, including one for a wheelchair passenger.

One charge of the electric bus battery lasts for 300-350 kilometers, and a full charge takes up to five hours. The vehicle also operates in recuperation mode - during braking, part of the energy is returned to the battery.

The level of localization of the model exceeds 40%. More than 250 Ukrainian suppliers of parts and components from different regions of the country are involved in the production. According to Kysylevsky, this has created thousands of additional jobs.

"This is good and high-quality equipment. Its advantages for customers are also the after-sales service provided by the manufacturer and the ability to adapt the machines to the customer's needs," emphasized Kysylevsky .
