Kyiv announces new tender for UAH 1 billion to repair Chernihivska interchange

The Kyivavtodor municipal corporation has announced a new tender with an expected cost of UAH 987.1 million – it is planned to overhaul the overpass with an interchange at the intersection of Myropilska Street with Brovarskyi Avenue and the Sviatoshyno-Brovarska metro line near the Chernihivska metro station. This was reported on the website Prozorro.

The auction is scheduled for November 19.

The website of the Kyiv City State Administration states that this overpass was put into operation in 1967.

It needs major repairs due to accumulated defects.

It is planned to replace the bridge deck structures, repair spans and supports, re-arrange networks, replace railings and barriers, upgrade lighting, replace tram tracks, and arrange bicycle lanes.

Repairs will allow to increase the road capacity.

  • The bridge near Chernihivska is one of the two main overpasses that connect the northern and southern parts of Kyiv's left bank. The repair of the second overpass near the Darnytsia metro station is currently being completed. It is being repaired by Avtomagistral-Pivden LLC at a cost of UAH 437.7 million.
