Ukrzaliznytsia announces speeding up the train to Warsaw by more than two hours

Ukrzaliznytsia promises to speed up trains to Warsaw from December 14. About this said the company's press service on Telegram.
Today, UZ presented an updated schedule for 2025-2026, which will be effective from December 14. The company noted that the direct flight No. 67/68 Kyiv – Warsaw has been accelerated by more than two hours in the new schedule.
"Now the train departs from Kyiv at 19.51 and arrives in Warsaw at 9.43. The return train departs from Warsaw at 18.41 and arrives in Kyiv at 9:49. on December 14, the Warsaw train will also arrive and depart from the main station of the Polish capital: Warsaw Central Station. There you can conveniently transfer to public transportation in the city," the statement said.
The new schedule also includes an updated train No. 23/34 Kyiv – Kholm, which, according to UZ, will be the fastest way to get to Warsaw with a transfer.
"Departure from Kyiv is at 21.57 – in Kholm at 8.08. And at 8.38, #IC 2802 Gorski departs from Kholm to Szczecin via Warsaw to Poznan. Arrival in Warsaw Central at 11.19," the press service said.
In addition, the company announced synchronizing Ukrainian flights with trains to Germany.
"Starting in December 2025, cross-border traffic between Germany and Poland will increase by 54% – instead of 11 direct trains, there will be 17. This means one thing: when returning home or traveling to Germany, it is enough to make just one transfer," the statement said.
The company announced three transfers in Przemysl, Poland, and one in Kholm:
- Train 51K Kyiv – Przemysl. Arrive at 5:00 to transfer to EC134 Via Regia Przemysl – Leipzig (departure 7:12);
- Train №63/64 Kharkiv – Przemyśl. Arrival in Przemysl: 16.59, transfer to EN417 Carpatia Przemysl – Prague – Munich (departure 17:51);
- Train №31/32 Zaporizhzhia – Przemyśl. Arrival in Przemyśl: 8.18, passengers will have almost an hour to change to EC58 Galicia Przemyśl – Berlin (departure 9.09);
- Train №119/120 Dnipro – Kholm (with two transfers). Arrival: 18.08, then transfer to train #440 to Ustka, which departs at 18:18. And at 21:31 passengers will have to transfer to the Warsaw Central 21:31 train Warsaw – Berlin – Świnoujście, arriving in Berlin at 6:00.
