Passengers can use trolleybuses in Kherson free of charge from 11 April, the city's military administration announced on Tuesday.

No documents are required for a free trolleybus ride, the statement reads.

Trolleybuses in Kherson resumed operation yesterday, with three routes currently available from 7:20 am to 5:30 pm.

The city, which was freed from Russian occupation in the autumn of 2022, is constantly shelled by the Russian military, leading to an influx of people moving to safer places.

In early January, Russia shelled the territory of a utility company operating trolleybuses, damaging most of them.
