Ukraine experiments with online land lease in push for transparency
Kyiv administration announced the first electronic land auctions, reported its press service.
Three plots of land are put up for auction for rent.

The purpose of the sites is operation and maintenance of parking lots. All plots are located in the Desnyanskyi district of Kyiv.
The starting price of lots ranges from UAH 87,000 ($2,357) to UAH 145,000 ($3,929). Auctions will be held on July 11.
"We continue to digitize the field of land relations. E-tendering is another important step that will make processes more transparent, eliminate corruption risks and increase revenue to the city budget," commented Petro Olenych, head of digital transformation of Kyiv and deputy head of Kyiv administration.
According to him, later the list of available lots will be expanded.
