The subdivision of Ukraine's state NPP operator - Energoatom-Trading - sold at auction the entire volume of 2.2 billion MWh with electricity supply in November 2023, reported the press service of Energoatom.

80 companies bought power. The total cost of electricity sold exceeds UAH 8.5 billion ($232.5 million) (without VAT).

The weighted average selling price is UAH 3,857/MWh ($105) (without VAT).

"This once again emphasizes that Energoatom is a successful and reliable seller of baseload electrical energy," the operator of Ukrainian NPPs commented.

Energoatom-Trading, a division of Energoatom, facilitates market-based and regulated electricity sales from nuclear power plants to generate revenue.

In the summer of 2023, the NPPs provided 19% more electricity than the norm, so as to power cuts for Ukrainians.

On September 25, Energoatom brought all operating NPP power units to maximum capacity.

On October 11, Energoatom took another nuclear power unit out of repair ahead of schedule.
