Domestic manufacturers primarily supply armored vehicles, mortars, and self-propelled artillery units, while ammunition and air defense systems are procured from abroad.

Items imported from foreign sources are those that were either never produced in Ukraine, even during Soviet times, or for which production technologies have been lost since independence.

"The Defense Procurement Agency's contracts are structured as follows: by quantity, 70% of contracts are with domestic manufacturers, and 30% are imported," Kanievskyi noted.

A larger number of Ukrainian suppliers participate in logistics procurement. This is due to the fact that light industry and food production are more developed in Ukraine.

The State Operator For Non-Lethal Acquisition (DOT) has signed agreements with 180 Ukrainian suppliers or manufacturers, of which 110 are in the clothing sector, 45 in the food sector, and over 25 companies in the fuel and lubricants sector.
