Nova Poshta opens second office in Berlin

Nova Poshta, one of Ukraine’s largest private postal services, has opened another office in Berlin in the Charlottenburg district, located in the western part of the city, its subsidiary Nova Post Deutschland said in a statement.

The office, located at Osnabrücker Str. 1, 10589 Berlin, accepts parcels and cargo weighing up to 100 kilograms.

The first Nova Poshta office in Germany opened in Berlin on 30 June.

The newly opened office works from Monday to Saturday, with Sunday being a day off. Delivery time to or from Ukraine is estimated at five business days.

Nova Poshta is one of the largest postal services in Ukraine, co-founded and owned by businessmen Vyacheslav Klimov and Volodymyr Popereshnyuk.

The group includes Ukrainian and international companies, including Nova Poshta; NovaPay; Nova Global; Nova Post in Moldova, Lithuania, Poland, the Czech Republic; and Supernova Airlines.

"By the end of the summer, we plan to open about 10 Nova Post Deutschland offices in cities including Hamburg, Frankfurt am Main, Munich, Cologne, and others," Serhii Simonov, CEO of Nova Post Deutschland, was quoted as saying.

"In addition, we are actively negotiating with a local partner to expand our delivery coverage in Germany by installing 7,500 delivery points across the country.

"We have ambitious plans to develop and strengthen our position as a postal carrier in Germany".
