As a result of the Russian missile attack on Kyiv on October 25, the office and warehouse complex of one of the largest pharmaceutical distributors in Ukraine, Optima-Pharm, were destroyed.

This information was confirmed to LIGA.net by a top manager of this company on condition of anonymity, as he was not authorized to give public comments.

According to him, the pharmaceutical company's losses amount to more than $100 million.

As a reminder, on October 25, Russians attacked Kyiv with ballistic missiles. The strike resulted in a series of powerful explosions in the Darnytskyi and Desnianskyi districts.

, On Saturday, rescue services used a helicopter to extinguish a large-scale fire at the building, reported. However, as of 10:00 a.m. on October 26, firefighters are still working there.

According to the website of Volantis, an electrical services contractor, the Optima-Pharm warehouse is 29,000 square meters.

This is the second hit to Optima-Pharm's warehouses this year. On August 28, the warehouses of the pharmaceutical distributor were destroyed.

The Ukrainian-Estonian company Optima-Pharm is one of the largest distributors of pharmaceuticals and medical products in Ukraine. The company has been operating in the market for over 30 years and has modern warehouse complexes and 11 branches throughout Ukraine.

By the end of 2024, Optima-Pharm was among the 15 largest companies in Ukraine. According to YouControl, the revenue of Optima-Pharm, owned by Andriy Hubskyi, exceeded UAH 69 billion last year.

The company ranks second after BaDM in the pharmaceutical wholesale market, controlling more than 85% of the market in 2022-2023.
