In May 2025, the duration of air alarms during shopping center operating hours significantly decreased. This was reported by the Ukrainian Council of Shopping Centers (URTC).

The percentage of air alarm duration during shopping center operation decreased to 8.4%, which is the lowest figure since November 2023.

It is noted that the total duration of air alerts was almost the same as in April.

This indicates that the alarms have shifted mostly to nighttime. The URTC writes that this has a positive effect on the operation of shopping centers.

The total duration of alarms in May remained at about the same level as in April, but most of them occurred at night. This shift had a positive impact on the operation of shopping centers, as it allowed them to operate with fewer interruptions.

The largest decrease was recorded in the Dnipropetrovsk region, where the share of alarm duration during shopping center working hours fell from 24.3% to 4.8%.

In Kharkiv, this indicator also decreased significantly – from 23.1% to 11.8%.
