During the last two quarters, the State JSC United Mining and Chemical Company began to sell titanium raw materials to new counterparties – Italy, Spain and Germany, reported the company's press service.

"For the fourth quarter of 2023 and the first quarter of 2024, JSC UMCC signed contracts for approximately another 80,000 tons. [...] We opened the UMCC brand to well-known end consumers in Italy, Spain and Germany," said Yehor Perelyhin, the first deputy chairman of the company's board.

After the second quarter 2024, Ukrainian rutile and zircon could become "absolutely regular and key components in the raw material portfolios" of these companies.

Companies in the USA and the Czech Republic remain strategic partners for UMCC for ilmenite concentrate.

The entire supply chain and end consumers of these products are controlled by law enforcement officers.

In 2023, the United Mining and Chemical Company exported more than 102,000 tons of products. The planned supply volume for 2024 is 200,000 tons.

JSC UMCC is one of the world's largest producers of titanium raw materials, has 4% of the world market and is among the top ten in the world in terms of production volumes. It is a leader in the production of ilmenite, rutile and zircon concentrates in Ukraine and Europe.

Ukraine plans to sell UMCC after the resumption of large-scale privatization.
