Ukraine and the UK agree to jointly produce artillery and launch LYRA

Ukraine and the United Kingdom have signed a statement of intent on the LYRA program, a joint effort to develop defense technologies for the battlefield. About reported defense minister Denis Shmyhal.
The statement was signed on the sidelines of the International Defense Industries Forum DFNC3.
The document envisages the creation of a working group to coordinate joint projects of countries to develop and scale up defense technologies under the LYRA program.
LYRA's goal is to combine Ukrainian and British defense industry and scientific potential to jointly develop, modernize and scale up arms production.
Ukraine and the United Kingdom also signed a project agreement on joint production of artillery, which will strengthen the defense capabilities of both countries and the security of Europe.
