The State Property Fund of Ukraine will hold an auction in late July to sell the Budfarfor plant in Slavuta, according to the Prozorro.Sale system.

The starting price for the sale of the integrated property complex of this state-owned enterprise—one of the oldest sanitary ware factories in Europe—is set at UAH 207.7 million.

The facility is a large industrial complex comprising 38 buildings with a total area of over 80,000 square meters. It includes workshops, warehouses, transport infrastructure, a canteen, and other facilities.

Founded in 1909, Budfarfor specialized in the production of porcelain sanitary ceramics, including toilets, flush cisterns, various types of washbasins, and pedestals. Since 2003, the plant has been leased to a series of private operators: initially to the UkrBudMaterialy Corporation, then to Sanitec, and later to Geberit.

Geberit eventually terminated the lease after constructing its own logistics center in Slavuta.

The auction for the Budfarfor complex is scheduled for July 23.

  • Earlier, on June 25, the owner of Meest won the privatization auction for the Topaz enterprise in Lviv, offering UAH 107 million.
