Ukrposhta has opened its first temporary office abroad – in Rome

Ukrposhta has opened a temporary office outside Ukraine for the first time – in the Italian capital, Rome. This was reported to by CEO Ihor Smelyansky.
"In fact, we have 690,000 of them – partner post offices around the world (even on the islands) where we deliver parcels. But today we have made an exception and opened our own Ukrposhta office in Rome", said Smelyansky.
The temporary mobile office was launched during the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025, which is taking place these days.
"For now, it will work during the Ukraine Recovery Conference 2025, and we'll see", emphasized Smelyansky.
A modular post office was installed in Rome, similar to those in Ukraine's frontline regions of Donetsk, Sumy, and Kharkiv. It is operated by Victoria from Kharkiv.
For several days, everyone will be able to buy famous Ukrainian postage stamps. After the conference, this branch will go back to Ukraine – to the frontline region.
The project was implemented with the support of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

- on June 24, Ukrposhta signed an agreement with the US Postal Service, which it had been working on for more than two years. The document envisages expanding logistics capabilities and improving delivery conditions for Ukrainian customers and exporters.
