The National Agency for Tracing and Asset Management has signed an agreement with the new manager of the arrested Russian share of Venta.LTD, one of the largest pharmaceutical distributors in Ukraine. This was reported by the ARMA press service.

This concerns a 24% stake in the company, which was previously arrested by the Pechersky District Court of Kyiv and transferred to the management of ARMA, after which the agency announced a competition for the management of these assets.

According to the results of the auction on Prozorro, the winner was LLC "I.K.VEL", with which ARMA signed an asset management agreement.

According to Opendatabot, LLC "I.K.VEL" was registered in 2009 in Dnipro and is engaged in retail trade of pharmaceutical products in specialized stores. The ultimate beneficial owner of the company is Oleksandr Voloshyn.

According to the signed agreement, the new manager will ensure transparent financial reporting, preserve jobs, and direct 94.145% of the amount of income received to the state budget.

The department emphasizes that the management of such assets is an important step in increasing economic and sanctions pressure on Russia. At the same time, the mechanism for managing corporate rights related to the Russian Federation currently remains blocked.

ARMA insists on the need to adopt draft law No. 13268, which will allow the agency "not only to store and manage valuable assets, but also to direct profits from their sale to strengthen Ukraine's economy, defense capabilities, and the restoration of affected territories."

The head of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Anti-Corruption Policy, Anastasia Radina, stated that I.K.VEL LLC is likely connected to Russian owners.

The founders of Venta.LTD are Oleksandr Voloshyn and Boris Murilo. They are also co-founders of LLC "I.K.VEL", to which ARMA gave the assets arrested from them to be managed.

The court decision on the transfer of the Russian share of Venta.LTD to the management of ARMA states that the National Police is investigating money laundering and tax evasion by this company through affiliated enterprises, in particular I.K.VEL LLC.

The same decision indicated that the Russians could have carried out illegal activities in collusion with the director of Venta.LTD, Alexander Voloshyn.

Radina also initiated an appeal to the National Police and the Prosecutor General's Office, which arrested Venta.LTD, the Security Service, as well as to the Prime Minister, demanding that an internal investigation be launched into the leadership of ARMA.
