Ukraine has completed the procedure for mutual recognition of digital signatures with the EU, the Ministry of Digital Transformation reports.

From now on, it will be possible to check Ukrainian e-signatures and seals on digital documents in EU member states and confirm their validity.

"An important step towards digital visa-free arrangement... Ukraine became the first non-EU country to be included in the European Union's trust list," the message said.

Ukrainians will be able to sign European contracts, documents, and appeals using the Diia.Pidpys-EU. This will open up new opportunities for Ukrainian entrepreneurs and refugees in EU countries, the Ministry of Digital Transformation stresses.

For its part, Ukraine recognized the qualified trust services of the EU. Citizens of the European Union will be able to use e-signatures and seals of their countries to conduct business in Ukraine.

A beta test of the digital signature of European documents Diia.Pidpys-EU in Ukraine was conducted in April.
