A new plant for the production of deep-frozen pastries was opened in Transcarpathia

A new modern plant for the production of deep-frozen baked goods was opened in Khust, Zakarpattia region. About it said press service of Bakery Food Investment.
The company noted that this is a strategic step towards higher quality, stability and expansion of its market presence.
The total investment in the plant's construction amounted to over UAH 400 million. The plant is currently operating the first of five production lines.
The planned capacity of the enterprise, as set out in the strategy until 2027, is up to 3,000 tons of products per month, which will be produced both for export and domestic consumption.
The company plans to launch six automated production lines. It is expected to create up to 500 new jobs and expand the geography of employee transportation to 70 km from Khust.
The company also plans to cooperate with local vocational schools to train young professionals in the food industry and build a stable talent pool in the region.
BFI started its operations in 2004 under the Fornetti brand, a franchise network of about 850 bakeries in different cities of Ukraine. The company's first plant was located in Chernihiv region.
