UPG buys the second batch of Privat gas stations: the AMCU decision is in

On Thursday, November 27, the Antimonopoly Committee considered applications from UPG to gain control over another batch of gas stations associated with the Privat group. This is reported on the website of the regulator.

According to the AMCU's decision, Yupidzhi LLC received permission to acquire 16 filling stations owned by Sorella Oil, Naftaprime, Ecotrade Company, Perspectiva Pro, Ailong Evolution, Leader Finance, Lyke Invest, Sky Project, Newport Holding, and Start Business Plus.

The ultimate beneficial owner of these companies is Yuriy Kiperman. The gas stations operated under the ANP and Avias brands.

A week ago, on November 20, the AMCU granted UPG permission to acquire control over 25 filling stations that were part of the Avias and ANP networks. In particular, UPG received approval to purchase of ten gas stationsand Ukrpalletsystem for the lease of 15 filling stations.

Earlier, Ukrpaletsystem received regulatory approvals to lease 383 "private" gas stations.

  • UPG (Ukrainian Petrol Group) is a Ukrainian chain of filling stations operating in 20 regions of the country. The company was founded by Volodymyr Petrenko.
  • At the end of September 2025, UPG relaunched the first batch of leased "private" gas stations – 34 filling stations in Kyiv and the region.
