Defense companies have the right to book men wanted by the TCC: law

Verkhovna Rada on October 9 made changes to the legislation on the temporary reservation of persons liable for military service at defense industry enterprises.

Draft law №13335 were supported by 272 votes, said people's deputy Galina Yanchenko.

"From now on, Ukrainian defense companies will be able to temporarily book employees for 45 days, even if they have not yet settled issues with military registration," she wrote on Facebook.

According to the MP, this time will allow people to undergo a military medical commission, draw up documents and get a job at factories "and not hide from the TCC.

According to the law, all employees of critical enterprises subject to military service who do not have military registration documents or have them improperly executed, who are not registered with the military, or who have not updated their personal data are subject to reservation.

Such reservation is provided only once a year and does not exempt from liability for violation of military registration rules.

In addition, a maximum probationary period of 45 days is established for employment at defense industry enterprises. If the employee fails to eliminate the violation of military registration within the specified period, the employer has the right to dismiss him or her.
