The State Statistics Service has resumed population surveys, which had not been conducted since the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion, and transferred them to an online format, reported the press service of the department.

In 2021, household surveys were conducted by place of permanent residence, and more than 900 interviewers were involved in this work.

Now the State Statistics Service is going to conduct an online survey on a special portal, where verification will take place using Diia.Signature or BankID.

The received information is depersonalized. Personal data (name, surname, etc.) will not be displayed. Authorization is required to make sure that a real person fills out the form and will do it only once.

Ukrainians over the age of 15 will be able to participate in the polls.

The first online statistical survey will concern the employment and unemployment of Ukrainians. Its purpose is to analyze current trends in the labor market, according to the Minister of Digital Transformation Mykhailo Fedorov.

In July 2023, the Ministry of Digital Transformation began testing a new state statistics portal.

On the updated portal, data will be stored in a single system, and not in separate files. Ukrainians will be able to find information much faster.

Interactive dashboards will display all the most important indicators.
