Major US defense corporation partners with Ukroboronprom

American company Northrop Grumman and Ukroboronprom signed an agreement on July 10 to establish a new production facility for medium-caliber ammunition according to NATO standards, the Office of the President of Ukraine reported following a meeting between Volodymyr Zelenskyy and top managers of leading American defense companies.
In addition to Northrop Grumman, the meeting was attended by BAE Systems, Day & Zimmermann, Boeing, Sierra Nevada Company, RTX, Lockheed Martin, General Dynamics, D&M Holding, AeroVironment, and Amentum.
The meeting discussed prospects for joint defense production, primarily ammunition, air defense systems, artillery, armored vehicles, and drones, as well as ensuring repair and maintenance of military equipment.
Northrop Grumman is the world's third-largest defense company by revenue. Only RTX and Lockheed Martin are larger.
