Nova Poshta, one of Ukraine’s largest private postal services, started operating in Romania on Monday, opening its first office in the capital Bucharest.

The office allows sending and receiving documents and parcels weighing up to 30 kilograms from Ukraine and Moldova.

Romania is the fourth EU country where Nova Poshta operates, following Poland, Lithuania, and the Czech Republic.

In addition, the company is also present in Moldova.

Volodymyr Popereshnyuk, Nova Poshta’s co-founder, believes the company’s international business will account for about a fifth of its total profit in two years.

He added Nova Poshta has two significant competitive advantages –  service and speed – over European companies.

In October 2022, Nova Poshta started operating in Poland, and this year, opened first offices in Lithuania and the Czech Republic.
