The Cabinet of Ministers dismissed the head of the ARMA. Svyrydenko ordered to urgently prepare a new competition

On Wednesday, July 30, the Cabinet of Ministers dismissed Elena Duma as the head of the National Asset Recovery and Management Agency (ARMA). About said prime minister Yulia Sviridenko.
"Yesterday I addressed the president Volodymyr Zelenskyy with the initiative to completely reboot the Asset Recovery and Management Agency. The President supported the government's plan. Today, at a meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers, the head of the agency was dismissed," Svyrydenko wrote on Telegram.
"I have instructed to urgently launch a new competition. The competition commission will include representatives of the government and international partners who support Ukraine in the anti-corruption sphere," the Prime Minister added.
According to Svyrydenko, the main task is to ensure that all seized assets, assets of sanctioned persons and property belonging to Russia work as much as possible for the defense and stability of Ukraine.
Duma submitted a letter of resignation from her post on July 30. She chose a symbolic date for her resignation – the day the the law on strengthening the institutional capacity of the ARMA.
According to Duma, one of the factors behind the resignation was the desire to ensure the independence of the future international audit of the national agency.
