Two more industrial parks to be created in Ukraine, bring over 1,800 new jobs

The Ukrainian government has registered another two industrial parks in the Dnipro and Ivano-Frankivsk region, which are expected to bring over 1,800 new jobs, the economy ministry said in a statement.

The EcoSteel Industrial Park will operate in the Novopil village council, in the Dnipro region.

It is expected to create around 900 jobs for metallurgical production, metalworking, metallurgical waste processing, construction materials, logistics, etc.

The Iskra Industrial Park, initiated by the Pidhaichyky village council, in the Ivano-Frankivsk region, will focus on food production, textile production, wood processing, etc.

The park will also be able to accommodate companies that produce wood and cork products, furniture, metal products, machinery and equipment. It is planned that the park will create around 950 jobs.

The government register already includes 67 industrial parks, which can now be subsidised from the state budget.
