The Sviatoshyno District Prosecutor's Office of Kyiv has filed a lawsuit with the Kyiv Commercial Court to recover almost UAH 13 million in unpaid share contribution to the city budget from a construction company. This was reported to by its press service.

The prosecutor's office is going to prove that Pivdenbudkontrakt Limited Liability Company built the Eco Dream residential complex at the intersection of Lvivska and Zhyvopysna streets in Sviatoshynskyi district without paying the mandatory payment to the city budget.

The total amount of the claim is UAH 12.65 million, of which 11.45 million is a direct equity participation in the creation of social and engineering and transport infrastructure in Kyiv, and the rest is inflationary losses and 3% per annum.

In September 2019, the Verkhovna Rada passed a law on stimulating investment activity in Ukraine. One of its provisions provided for the abolition of the mandatory payment of a share contribution to the development of the infrastructure of a settlement in the amount of 4% of the cost of residential construction and 10% of the cost of non-residential construction.

This rule came into force in 2021, but customers who started construction before the share contribution was canceled must pay it.

The prosecutor's office's lawsuit will be considered on December 11, 2025.

Centrobud Investment and Construction Company LLC, which, according to an agreement of June 2015, has the rights and obligations related to the implementation of the construction project, is involved as a third party.
