Ukraine's government appoints two deputy energy ministers

On Friday, the Cabinet appointed two new deputy ministers of energy, reported the representative of the government in the Verkhovna Rada, Taras Melnychuk.

Svitlana Hrynchuk and Oleksandr Kheylo became German Galushchenko's deputies.

From July 29 to December 23, 2022, Svitlana Hrynchuk held the position of Deputy Minister of Environmental Protection and Natural Resources for European Integration. Prior to that, she was an adviser to the Minister of Finance and headed a working group under the Ministry of Energy on environmental protection and climate change.

From January 2023 until today, Oleksandr Kheylo headed the state-owned enterprise Ukrvuhillya.

German Galushchenko has been the Minister of Energy of Ukraine since April 29, 2021. His appointment drew the support of 305 MPs.
