Reconstruction agency grants NABU full access to all documents of former Ukravtodor

The head of the State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of Ukraine (former Ukravtodor) Mustafa Nayyem signed a memorandum of cooperation with the new director of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine Semen Kryvonos, both agencies reported on their official websites on March 20.
The memorandum guarantees NABU detectives unhindered access to the building of the Agency upon presentation of an official ID. They will be able to freely study documents and any other media necessary for the prevention, detection, termination and investigation of corruption offenses.
"The memorandum with NABU is not just a formal document on cooperation. The document provides for an unprecedented level of trust and cooperation. In fact, the memorandum gives employees of the National Bureau full access to all documents of the agency," stressed Nayyem.
The head of the agency stated that all information, as well as cooperation within the framework of the memorandum, will be strictly confidential. This should ensure that the information to be transferred to NABU will be used only to achieve the goals of the memorandum and will not be disclosed to third parties.
- The Reconstruction Agency is the former Ukravtodor, to which the government joined Ukrinfraproject on January 13.
- At the end of January, Mustafa Nayyem was appointed as its head, having been dismissed from the post of Deputy Minister of Community Development, Territories and Infrastructure.
- The State Agency for Reconstruction and Development of the Infrastructure of Ukraine will be responsible for the implementation of the country's reconstruction projects.
