Ukraine and the United States to establish a joint plant for the production of special chemicals for ammunition

The Ukrainian state-owned company Ukrainian Defense Industry and the American D&M Holding Company have signed an agreement to establish a joint venture. This was reported to by the press service of Ukroboronprom.
The agreement was signed at the International Conference on Ukraine's Recovery (URC 2025) on July 11.
The new plant will be located in the United States and will specialize in the production of special chemicals needed to manufacture ammunition for the Ukrainian army.
According to Ukroboronprom, this is an important step towards overcoming the shortage of components that Ukraine's defense industry is currently experiencing.
"The Ukrainian defense industry should gradually move from large-scale procurement to domestic production to meet its urgent needs. It is equally important that the enterprise will operate in a safe area," emphasized Oleh Hulyak, Director General of UkrOboronProm .
Strategic partnership with the United States remains key to strengthening Ukraine's defense capabilities in times of war, Ukroboronprom adds.
