Almost a quarter of a million cars worth $3 billion were imported to Ukraine: the largest supplier countries
Ukrainians imported 224,500 cars worth more than $3 billion in seven months of 2025
From January to July 2025, 224,500 new and used cars were imported to Ukraine, which is 17% more than in the same period last year. About writes Ukravtoprom, citing data from the State Statistics Service.
The total customs value of imported cars amounted to almost $3.2 billion, up 22% year-on-year.
Germany was the largest supplier, with 49,963 cars imported from there. The top three also included the United States (39,320 cars) and China (22,835 cars).
It is also among the top ten countries supplying cars to Ukraine:
- Japan – 20,257;
- South Korea – 14,491;
- France – 14,399;
- Czech Republic – 11,188;
- Great Britain – 10,312;
- Mexico – 9,149;
- Romania – 5,782.
- On August 28, it was reported that more than 90% of new electric vehicles are imported to Ukraine from China.
