Another 60 "privately owned" gas stations leased to UPG: AMCU decision

Ukrpaletsystem company (UPG filling station chain) on Thursday, October 9, received permission from the Antimonopoly Committee to lease another batch of gas stations affiliated with Privat Group. About it says on the AMCU website.

We are talking about 60 filling stations registered to 17 limited liability companies: Ailong Evolution, Albiland, Vertiks Mall, Ecotrade Company, Angel Capital, Eurotrade Expo, Jasmine Trade, Corso Town, Lake Invest, Leader Finance, Newport Holding, Perspectiva Pro, Sirius Gold, Sky Project, Sorella Oil, Start Business Plus, and Taros Group.

The ultimate beneficiary of these companies is Yuriy Kiperman.

Earlier this year, UPG received permission to lease 219 filling stations: in July 34 "private" gas stations "Avias and ANP, and then another 47, in August – in 46and in September – by 75 plus 17.

UPG (Ukrainian Petrol Group) is a Ukrainian chain of filling stations operating in 20 regions of the country. The company was founded by Volodymyr Petrenko.

In an interview with LIGA.net Petrenko said that it costs about $5 million to set up a UPG-format filling station, while building a small filling station in Ukraine as of 2025 will cost $1.3-1.4 million. Therefore, the company is considering options for buying and renovating gas stations in poor condition.
